AskMen.com has announced its list of the Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2012, as determined by more than 500,000 votes. Former president and Arkansas native Bill Clinton is No. 3 on the list, with Louisiana native designer Billy Reid at No. 26. And they’re not the only Southerners to be deemed “most influential.” New Orleans-born singer/songwriter Frank Ocean is No. 8, Director Quentin Tarantino, who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, takes the No. 28 slot, and Atlanta-born Kanye West is No. 31. (West holds the new record as the only man to be named to the site’s Top 49 for all seven years.)
James Bond takes the No. 1 slot with the release of “Skyfall” coming up, and the list’s press release admits that Memphis native Justin Timberlake and Lexington, Kentucky-born George Clooney are notably missing.
