Flannery O’Connor Symposium Interview

Yesterday, O’Connor Symposium committee member and UL Lafayette English professor Dr. Mary Ann Wilson was interviewed about her literary find on the university’s public radio station. Click on the link below to listen to her interview and find out how she came to discover a 1962 recording of Flannery O’Connor speaking in Lafayette, Louisiana, in her office filing cabinet. The recording resulted in the symposium and several other events planned for November 9-10 in Lafayette. Early registration deadline is October 15, and registration details are available here.

KRVS Apres Midi Oct. 10 (fast forward to 23:30 to hear Dr. Wilson’s interview)
