Night of the Iguana Punch

Inspired by Tennessee Williams’ 1961 play of the same name, this punch was served all over the French Quarter during the 2013 Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival. In the same vein as the gin and tonic, it’s light and refreshing, especially garnished with a slice of cucumber.

Hendrick’s Gin
Celery and cucumber juice
Fresh lemon juice
Simple syrup
Green chartreuse
Chilled soda water

Mix in a pitcher or bowl, and garnish with cucumber, lemon wheels and mint leaves.
