Lavender Pecan Crisps

2 cups sugar
2 cups butter
3 cups flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
4 cups corn flakes
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
6 tsp. ground lavender
Cream sugar and butter. Add dry ingredients, then fold in corn flakes and pecans. Spoon onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

These cookies are wonderful and easy to makel!!! The recipes makes a lot, so sometimes I just half the recipe. Makes a great hostess gift, too. Men like them also.
