10 Best Tweets From American Horror Story: Coven
New Orleans is slowly taking over television on Wednesday nights, with “Top Chef” now competing with “American Horror Story” for viewers. And if you still haven’t had enough of the city after that, there’s “Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce” following on Fuse Network. Last night’s premiere of “American Horror Story: Coven” certainly stole viewers from “Top Chef” and just about every other show on at the time, especially if you were on Twitter and wondering why Kathy Bates rubbing blood on her face, Jessica Lange doing cocaine and frat boys wearing Ed Hardy shirts were flooding your feed. At times shocking and still not afraid to push the envelope, “Coven” is also bringing some of New Orleans real-life legends to life and demonstrating what can happen on-screen when seasoned actresses like Bates, Lange and Angela Bassett get together.
