Chocolate Peppermint Moravian Cookie Sandwiches

Artisan Chocolate Moravian Cookies
Mascarpone cheese
Vanilla extract
Crushed peppermint

Sweeten mascarpone cheese with a hint of vanilla extract, then sandwich it between two Chocolate Moravian Cookies and roll in crushed peppermint. Pair with Pinot Noir, Merlot, coffee or cold milk.

Recipe courtesy of Salem Baking Co., which began as a retail bakery in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, operating continuously since 1930 as Dewey’s Bakery. Their Moravian Cookies are available online in flavors ranging from Ginger Spice to Meyer Lemon and Cranberry Orange.
