Frozen Irish Coffee

 

Prohibition Frozen Irish CoffeeJim McCourt head bartender at Charleston’s Prohibition and a native of Northern Ireland, has combined his Irish heritage with his expertise in all things whiskey to create a frozen Irish coffee cocktail perfect for cooling off in the heat.

1 oz. Jameson
1 oz. Tia Maria
4 oz. strong brewed coffee (cooled)
1 scoop ice
1 tsp. Demerara sugar

Baileys Whipped Cream:
1 cup heavy cream
1 oz. Baileys Irish cream
1 tsp. sugar

Whisk all whipped cream ingredients together until stiff peaks form.

Add other ingredients to a blender and blend for 20 seconds. Pour into a daiquiri-style glass and top with Baileys Whipped Cream. Drizzle a little creme de menthe syrup and shaved chocolate on top and serve.
