With a little over two weeks to go until this year's Louisiana Book Festival — scheduled for October 31 in Baton Rouge — we thought we'd suggest some titles in preparation for the state's literary event of the season. With more than 200 authors attending, it can be daunting to decide who to see and what to read. This list is by no means comprehensive, but it does hit the highlights. You can also look forward to the bookstore tent on site at the festival, where you can purchase copies of books from all the authors attending, many of them signed.
