
New Orleans bar Hot Tin is sharing a cocktail recipe for Southerners—and fans of Tennessee Williams—to make at home. Hot Tin is located in the Penthouse of the Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Ave. and name after Williams famous “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.”
1.5 oz. Cimarron tequila
.5 oz. Del Maguey Vida mezcal
.5 oz. Sangue Morlacco Luxardo cherry brandy
1 oz. Lime juice
3/4 oz. Mango
Habanero shrub
Shake and strain all ingredients over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
