The city’s bookish charm will have a chance to shine brightly at the 10th annual Mississippi Book Festival on Saturday, September 14. The free festival transforms the Mississippi State Capitol grounds into a lively experience where authors and readers unite for the ultimate literary lawn party. This year, the festival will feature engaging author talks, panel discussions, book signings and workshops. Special guests include Levar Burton and Jesmyn Ward, who will join other panelists to celebrate Jackson’s rich literary heritage and art of storytelling.
