Georgia and South Carolina started to see some leaves changing just last week, and by October 21, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas and Louisiana will begin to get a leaf show. By November 4, these Southern states will see the peak of the leaves changing and by November 18, the Southern states’ leaves will have reached near peak or peak.
With Thanksgiving coming up, places like the Smoky Mountains are ideal places to take your family to have a relaxing time and enjoy the lovely fall atmosphere. Some other places to visit in the South during this time are Cypress Swamp in Mississippi, Lookout Mountain Parkway in Alabama, Three Rivers State Park in Florida and the Guadalupe River State Park in Texas.
