Virginia Williamson is a native of Meridian, Mississippi, with a BA in anthropology from Louisiana State University. After college, she put her cultural studies degree to good use and moved to New Orleans to experience the cuisine, music and “joie de vivre” of the city. Virginia currently lives in Louisiana’s capital city of Baton Rouge with her dog, Abigail, where they are both endlessly charmed by the River Road region.
