Located in the sleepy town of Broussard, Louisiana, right outside of Lafayette, Parish Brewing founder Andrew Godley was a chemical engineer in his past life. He started brewing out of his garage and now has a taproom and brewery facility for Parish. This company's main brew is Canebrake, a wheat ale brewed with Steen’s Cane Syrup from the nearby town of Abbeville. Last November, Parish released its first Grand Reserve, a bottle-conditioned barleywine ale that will be produced annually. Their Farmhouse IPA is also available in large bottles, while pale ale Parish Envie is on the market as the brand's second full-time brew. We couldn't pass up a chance to share Parish's delicious Canebrake though. Once you've had a taste, it's hard not to stay loyal and keep your glass full.
