I agree to snip the edges
of sentences.

I agree to compassion.
To paradox. To rationality.

To lay my words in the
lattice like shredded suet.

I agree to philosophy.
To equality and mercy.

To make my thoughts
worthy of a grand opening.

To be a version of
the vichyssoise,

and to season well.
